The first quarter of 2017 is over and we saw a number of smartphones launched in India,most of which were unique in their own way.Loads of smartphones are yet to come,so lets have a look at the top 8 Smartphones Set to Launch In India Soon:-

1. One Plus5:-

kicking off the list is One Plus with its upcoming flagship smartphone the One Plus5 the most awaited smartphone of the year . The smartphone images have also leaked online.The company has said that their upcoming flagship will have a Qualcom Snapdragon 835,design has also been changed a little with the implimentatiaon of a horizontal dual camera,the smartphone will run on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) powered by a Qualcom Snapdragon 835 processor,Adreno 540GPU along with 6GB Ram and 64GB storage and the dual camera is said to be both 16MP shooters.

2.Xiaomi Mi6:-

Already Launched in china the previous month,Xiaomi’s Flagship smartphone the Mi 6 is claimed to be the company most awaited smartphone of 2017.Expected to launch in India soon the Mi6 is powered by a Snapdragon 835 processor,has 6GB Ram and 64GB storage,it also comes with a full HD Display and has four-sided 3D glass design.Mi6 will run Android 7.0 Nougat topped with MiUi skin.The flagship also has a dual camera setup with 12MP shooter (One wide angle and one telephoto lense)it will support 4k video recording and also has a 8MP front Camera.

3.HTC U11:-

Htc recently launched its HTC U11 the flagship smartphone for the year 2017.The much talked about smartphone comes with unique squeezeble bezels,it has 8 sensors on the sides of its display to register the squeeze.This feature is customizable for the app of your choosing.The HTC U11 comes with a 5.5 inch QHD display with corning Gorilla Glass 5,powered by Snapdragon 835 processor along with 6/4GB of Ram and 128/64GB of storage. The smartphone comes with shiny mirror finish which looks stunning but also makes the smartphone a fingerprint magnet.

4.Moto C/CPlus:-

Lenovo the parent company to Motorola just launched two new smartphones by the name Moto C and Moto C Plus.Both are entry level smartphones and come with Android 7.0 Nougat OS and are powered by Mediatech processors and have 2/5 MP cameras and come with 1GB ram and 8/16GB storage.you get two battery variants to choose from a 2350MaH and a 4000MaH.

5.Nokia 6,5,3:-

With the classic Nokia3310 hitting the Indian market.HMD Global is getting ready to launch other Nokia smartphones in India.The Company is expected to launch Nokia 5,6,3 by the end of June this year.Jumping to the specs Nokia 6 comes with 5.5 inch HD display a Snapdragon 430 processor 4GB Ram and 64GB expandable storage and a 16/8MP camera setup.The Nokia 5 supports a 5.2 inch Display 2GB Ram and 16GB storage,Smapdragon 430 and a 13/8 MP camera setup.As for Nokia 3 it features a 5 inch screen a MediaTech MT6737 processor 2GB Ram and 16GB storage along with 8/8Mp camera setup.

6.Sony Xperia XZ Premium:-

Sony is most likely to launch its flagship XZ Premium in India next month.This smartphone is a successor of Sony Xperia XZ launched in India in 2016.The Flagship smartphone supports a 5.5 inch 4k Display runs on Qualcom Snaodragon 835 processor packs a 4GB Ram and 64GB expandable storage it comes with a 19/13MP camera setup and has a 3220 MaH battery.

 

7. Huawei P10:-

Huawei’s P10 smartphone is its flagship of 2017 and Huawei is too excited to launch it in the Indian market in the next few months.The Smartphone comes with 5.1 inch full HD display,powered by the company latest and the most powerful octacore Kirin 960 processor along with 4GB Ram and 64GB storage.It comes with a camera setup of 12/20Mp dual camera setup along with 8MP front cmaera.The Huawei P10 packs a 3200 MaH battery.

8.Apple I-Phone 8:-

For Apple’s 10 anniversary the company decided to launch an Anniversary special I-phone namely the i-phone 8 or the i-phone X.The Flagship is rumored to be released in october 2017.The smartphone is supposed to have an All glass and metal design,similar to the Samsung’s S8 and S8 Plus.a bezel less OLED Display and a new in-display touch ID.waterproffing,wireless charging and more.

This year smartphone screens are getting bigger and their body is getting smaller.So what happens when you put a bigger screen on Samsung’s Galaxy S7 edge,you get the amazingly beautiful Galaxy S8. 2017 is going to be a year of bezel less smartphones be it LG G6, Xiaomi MI Mix or the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 plus .Xiaomi with its MI MIX showed the world an almost edge to edge display concept,Samsung on the other hand made that concept a reality with its Galaxy S8 and S8 plus that come with an edge to edge display or as samsung calls it the infinity display.

 DISPLAY:-

The best part of the Galaxy S8 is its infinity display its a 5.8 inch dual curved Super Amoled of 2960×144 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9.Sure its a weird one and there is very less content available on the internet in this aspect ratio but never the less Samsung showed us all why is it the king when it comes to display,the dual curves on the phone make it appear slimmer and easy to hold though there is not much funcationality of the edge screen but it sure makes the S8 stand appart from its competition.The Display of the S8 is a delight to look at and takes media streaming n the device to a whole new level .Due to the enormous display the home/fingerprint scanner had to be relocated at the back,but that is a more welcome change as the user can now finally switch its recent and back buttons according to their prefrences as they are now on screen buttons.(We are not complaining)

BATTERY PERFORMANCE:-

Though the S8 packs a larger display and a weird one at that we fail to understand why didnt they increase the battery size but are still using the same battery as the S7 edge had ie 3000 MaH.

When tested the S8’s battery lasted almost 10 hrs we did a casual use of the smartphone by listening to music,surfing on the interned,watching a few videos,taking pictures etc and it easily lasted a whole working day with around 25% remaining by the time we were done with it.So it is safe to say that it lasted a little more than the S7 .

USER-INTERFACE :- Android 7.0 with Samsung UX

Do you guys remember the Note 7 ,ya that one that caused samsung a lot of money and damage in their goodwill.Although we all loved the Note 7 sadly it just couldnt remain in our hands.Samsung has played all its cards right this time and has put the same Samsung UX interface of the Note 7 in its S8.The UI is light very unlike samsung’s previous flagships and Android 7.0 even makes the experience of using the phone better.There are a bunch of customization options like you can customize the always on display with a bunch of analog/digital clocks to choose from.The UI is simole there is no apps button you just swipe up for the menu just like the pixel lineup.if you swipe left on the home screen it takes you to Bixby Samsungs AI.

Overall the UI is simple and beautiful it is smooth dose nit have any lags and makes your flagship experience even better.Samsung Managed to do all the things right this time.

PERFORMANCE:-

What happens when you take the best tech available in the world and put it all together in one smartphone you get the S8.Caling it a beast at performance would be an understatment.Snapdragon 835 along with Adreno 540 Gpu make the ultimate tag team and could take any task you throw at them.Espically playing High Graphic games on the S8 is a must it brings out the best of Samsung Galaxy S8 the 4GB of ram takes all tasks head on and completes them without breaking a sweat though if you do intense gaming for a long duration of time the smartphone heats up a little bit but its not a problem you never notice any lags in its performance.

CAMERA:-

When the world is going towards dual camera setup Samsung still goes with its  tried and tested 12MP camera of the S7 sits on the S8 aswell with a minor improvements nothing major.It is not the best out there but it is pretty good the images are crisp and as its samsungs display the colours are oversatuarated but that makes the image appear more colourfull.The front camera has received an upgrade now the S8 has a 8MP front camera which is also wide-angle foe group selfies.Both the cameras support 4k recording and the rear also comes with slow-motion recording.

 

 

BIXBY:-

Bixby is smasung’s personal Assistant just like google’s AI and Apple’s Siri.The main moto behind samsung’s concept of bixby is everything that you  touch to do you should be able to give voice commands for the same.With Bixby you can also mix and match types of inputs.Bixby will use clues to come to conclusions what you want with it.foe Eg:-if you ask Bixby To call tony and you have more than one Tony on your contact list Bixby will ask you which one,isnt that cool.Samsung is so confident with Bixby that it gave bixby its own separate button to enable bixby.

ACCESSORIES:-

Every superhero needs sidekicks,and smartphones need smart accessories to make them so smart.Samsung with its S8 series produced its A game with a whole new bunch of accessories Namely:-

1. SAMSUNG DEX STATION:-Just like microsoft surface doc Samsung produced its own doc that helps its users to convert their S8 and S8+ into a pc by connecting it to a moniter.
2. SAMSUNG GEAR 360:-Samsung launched its new gear 360 camera which is much lighter and compact than its previous model and helps you take images and videos in 360 Degree angle

CONCLUSION:-

Samsung is playing its A game with the S8 and the S8 plus creating the most beautiful smartphone ever samsung is tring to fix its image after the Note 7 tragedy.And we can say that it is working S8 will officially hit the indian markets on May but pre-bookings are on Flipkart.All in all the S8 is worthy of being called samsung’s best smartphone so far and will surely be the best of 2017.

INTRODUCTION:-

Indian celebrity and “Being Human” clothing brand owner Salman Khan registers “Being Smart”mobile phone brand and will be coming up with his own Smartphone “The Bhai Phone” For mid ranger market.

The smartphones are being made to compete against chinese companies like Xiomi,oppo,etc. For this project Salman has approached many investors and is also bulding a working operational management team which is supposed to be head by someone with executive leadership experience from either Samsung or micromax.The person shortlisted is Mr.Taneja from the smartphone company Micromax where he headed the mobile division till the last year.Many tech enthusiast have also blamed Mr.Taneja for the downfall of Micromax in smartphone segment.

DETAILS AND COMPETITION:-

However all the details of the company are not out yet and wheather “Being Smart”would launch a single smartphone or a bunch of them is also not clear.According to recent reports the proceedings of the new venture,would be the same as other ventures of Salman,directed to charity and social work which is carried out by Salman Khan’s Being Human Foundation.

At present the Indian Mobile Market is the Third largest in the world and new smartphone companies are trying to enter India to increase their sales and profit.However the market is tough and is held strong by big brands like Samsung,Apple,Vivo,Oppo etc in the offline and online markets while brands like Moto.Xiaomi,One Plus in only in the online market.

Till Date the price and specifications of the smartphone is unknown.But if Salman Khan manages to pull this off with big investors on board which does not look like much for our very own Bhai Jaan.It would be really intresting to see how this “bhai Phone”feaver goes just like his movies or diffrent.And the biggest question of them all will these phones run on Android os or “Bhai OS”.

INTRODUCTION:-

MWC (Mobile World Congress) is a place or rather an event held every year in which various smartphone brands eg:- Nokia,Samsung,HTC,LG,Huawei etc.showcase their best tech for the year upcoming products etc. MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017 has ended this week,and these are the Top Brands that made it big this year.

1. LG:-

   The company showcased their new priced posession the LG G6 a Smartphone unlike its predissor is the most beautifully and amazingly executed by LG.The G6 brings the G5’s productivity and the V20’s performance in a single unibody waterproof design along with dual camera setup and a near edge to edge display.The LG G6 shows that this time LG is serious and wants to rase its brand even higher.

2. SONY:-

   This year at MWC Sony launched two smartphones The Xperia XZ and Xperia XZ Premium both were flagship smartphones and The Sony Xperia XA in the mid range segment.Sony impressed its customers by launching the much awaited smartphones together.The Xperia XZ and Xperia XZ Premium both will come later this year and will showcase sony’s new 4K HDR Screen and Snapdragon 835. 

   

   

3. NOKIA:-

   Nokia and HMD Global delevired some pretty good Smartphone for this year.Not only did the classic 3310 made a comeback which refreshed many memories but the Nokia Trio od Android powered smartphones took the cake.Namely Nokia 6 the flagship Nokia 5the mid ranger and the budget friendly Nokia 3.All three Smartphones run Android and will get pixel timely updates.

4. HUAWEI:-

   With the Huawei P10,this year Huawei brough competition to the LG G6 with its own dual camera setup.Huawei P10 uses a 12+20MP camera setup,comes ina 5.5 inch display and kirin 960 chipset.The company also displayed Huawei Smartwatch 2 in sporty and classic version,they will also be dropping in market this year.

5. MOTOROLA:-

   This year at MWC Moto also showcased its mid ranger the killer Moto G line up with the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus.Both have good improvements over their already sucessful predessors the G4 Series.Both the Moto G5 and the G5 Plus will be launching in march 2017.

6. SAMSUNG:-

   With the Galaxy S8 schedule for march,Samsung this yeat at MWC tried to revive its Galaxy Tab series with the Galaxy Tab S3..Equiped with a large AMOLED screen along with an S Pen an optional QWERTY Keyboard to increase productivity,And a Snapdragon 820.

1. Data Saver:-

Android 7.0 brings with it a much needed feature with it known as the Data Saver Mode,not very outstanding but it helps the user to take a bit of control over the devices battery and data usge while in stanby.Data Server mode helps you choose which app has data access while the screen is off.its incredibaly helpful in saving battery and data safe from apps like Facebook etc that constantly run in the background.

To activate data saver mode go to Settings>data usge>Data Saver click and choose the apps you want to restrict using data when the screen is off.

2.Tweeking The Display:-

With the help of Android Nougat you can finally fiddle with how much info you want to be displayed on your screen.

For this go to Settings>Display>Display Size from there you can alter the scale of the whole OS ,it helps you cahnge Icon Size,font Size etc..

3.Notification Priority:-

Yo can slent certain kind of notification,well some notification’s are important some are not,Android 7.0 helps you silent some of those notifications and the apps they come from.This comes in handy when you dont want to be reminded of birthdays of all those casual friends of yours etc,well Android Nougat helps you acomplish that.
